Week 10

It's Week 10. Do you know where your backups are?

Week 9 Highlights:
The ic chargers were hit hard by the Bye Week Shuffle, but that's not what did them in in their loss to the Manassholes. They can probably contribute their loss to RB Martin. The RB only put up 7 yards. It also didn't help that QB Prescott was the only player on the icees roster to produce TDs. . . 3, to be exact. The M-holes did a little better on offense. Especially, WR Woods, a recent pickup by the Holes front office. The WR scored an impressive 2 TDs for 19 points. The result was a 86-80 win for the Manassholes.

It was an easy win for the Love Supremes. Although, the game was pretty much over before it started, as they faced the Dabalalas who seemed to have forgotten to show up. The Las played the game with three players on Byes, one player inactive, and no defense in place. The players that did play did pretty decent. K Vinatieri scored a bonus 2 with his 50+ yarder. WR HIll scored a TD. And, QB Wentz put up his 3rd most points of the season thanks to his 4 TD passes. For the Supies, it was RB Kamara who stole the show with a TD and 150+ total yards. And, equally impressive was K McManus 2 50+ yarders for a bonus 4. The Love Supremes dominated 95-55.

The Half Smokes continued their roller coaster season, this time losing to the Bad Ass Weazels 118-76. There were a couple of reasons why the Smokies were held back. Marquee WR Green was ejected from the game for an altercation in the second quarter. And, The Halvsies left inactive WR Benjamin in the starting lineup. Although, no one on the Smokies bench would have changed the outcome of the game. There was more production on the Weazels side of the ball. But, it was QB Goff who stole the show. The QB threw 4 TD passes, two of which being 50+ yarders for a bonus 4 points.

The DaBruDoggies and Dancers battled it out for last place. The Brus won. . . by losing to the Dancers 95-94. Going into the Monday night game, the Brus were behind by only 7 points with RB Jones and WR Adams yet to play. The two were projected to score much more than what was needed to win. But, the pair came up 1 point short. The Dancers had one of their best games of the season thanks to a couple of TDs by WR Jeffery and another by WR Matthews. And, a TD by RB Allen and 2 thrown by QB Mariota gave the Dancers their third win.

The Lancelot Links got the job done, taking out The Bug 114-106. The Links saw a whole lot of double digit efforts, but the stars of the game were definitely WR Hilton (2 TDs and 175 yards) and RB Gurley (2 TDs and 100+ yards). The Bug posted their third 100+ game in a row thanks to TDs by three of their ball carriers. And, despite a lost fumble, QB Brissett Threw 2 TD passes, one of which being an 80 yarder for a bonus 2. But, in the end, the Lancelot Links went back to their winning ways and took back 1st place.

Another close loss for the Pandemic of Love, their second in a row. This time to Password is Taco 90-86. The Pandemic were helped by a few double digit performances, including 17 by RB Lynch, 13 by WR Thomas, 15 by K Zuerlein, and 23 by Jaguars. But, it was probably QB Cousins that lost it for the Love. The QB failed to put up any TDs, lost a fumble, and put up his worst game of the season. The Tacos running corp put up a decent 25 total points thanks to a combined 200 rushing yards. But, it was QB Smith's 2 TD passes and bonus 2 that put the Tacos over the top.

Speaking of Password is Taco, owner Jason is in our Game Of The Week Spotlight.

Spotlight:
Jason, this is a big game for Password is Taco. You'll be facing the 6-2, 2nd place Half Smokes. And, this is a must win for the Tacos to have a chance at the playoffs. You're on a two game win streak. Will the Half Smokes be your third? What's the game plan for making it to the playoffs?

The last few weeks have seen a handful of close games and yet again I'm sure it's going to be very close with a tough matchup this week. The last two weeks I have been trying to focus not only on my players stats thus far and who is ready for a break out game but also on the matchups they are playing against. I believe the league will be in for yet another great week of fantasy football. HTTR

Game Of The Week Preview:

This has been a rather quiet week for the Password is Taco Front Office. Unlike in previous weeks where the Tacos have been fairly aggressive in the Free Agent Market, they haven't made any adds this week. Perhaps coach Jason is pretty confident in his week 10 lineup. He should be. He's got a great QB in Wilson who's scored no less than 2 TDs in his last three games. We'll see whether the rest of the team can match up to Wilson's level.

The Half Smokes are in 2nd place. They've won twice as many games as they've lost. So, they know how to win. Here's an interesting stat about the Smokies. They've seemed to have developed a win/loss pattern. They win two games, then lose one. Then, win two, then lose one. So, if you're keeping count, after last weeks loss to the Bad Ass Weazels, this week's matchup against the Tacos should be a win. . . We shall see.

Good luck all! See you next edition!
