Week 6 Highlights:
Our high scorer of the week happened to be our only winless team going into Week 6. The DaBruDoggies, after a four game losing streak, took down the Pandemic of Love 129-109. The Pandemic had a good game thanks to their star QB Cousins who tossed a couple of TDs as well as ran one in. And, four of their receivers found the endzone and scored in double digits. The Brus didn't see as much action on their air attack. Only two of their receivers scored TDs. And, QB Brees didn't have a huge game. It wasn't quite Brees' fault, though. The Saints DST made it so that Brees didn't have to work too hard thanks to 3 defensive TD, 5 sacks, 3 INTs and 2 FUM recoveries resulting in 43 total points. That 43 points for the Brus DST tied the BFL record, a record already held by the Brus, along with the ic chargers.

The Lancelot Links continue their dominance of the BFL, winning their sixth game in a row, dominating the Love Supremes 100-61. Lance TE Gronkowski was back to form, scoring 2 TDs. And, QB Newton recorded a passing and rushing TD. Although, he was held back some by his 3 INTs. Also adding to the Links effort was a TD and almost 100 yards by WR Tate. A very different outcome for the Supies. QB Brady scored 20. Their DST was solid and scored a safety. But, the rest of the team didn't seem to be there as none of them scored TDs. It also didn't help that WR Marshall, whose out for the season, was left in the starting lineup. Backup WR Jones had a great game. But, even if he had been taken off the bench, it wouldn't have changed the outcome of the game.

A much needed win for the Dancers, and a mighty good team they did it against. The Dancers outscored the Half Smokes thanks to a monster effort by RB Gordon who scored a receiving and rushing TD, as well as 150 total yards. And, QB Mariota didn't have a huge game, but he did score a bonus 2 points thanks to 53 yard passing TD. The Smokies scored under 100 points for only the second time this season. The team's offense only scored 1 TD and single digits all around. The bright spot for the Halfsies was their Bears DST which scored a TD and 3 sacks and 2 INTs.

It was a mighty close game between the Bad Ass Weazels and the Manassholes, but the M-holes managed to eke out a 95-92 win. It's hard to say who affected the outcome the most. Some experts might attribute the outcome to the Holes DST and their 2 TD returns, 4 sacks, and 2 fumbles. Some might attribute it to Weazels QB Stafford who, despite throwing 3 TD passes, threw 3 INTs, cutting a potential 6 points from his score. Either way, the M-holes can raise their hands in victory as their win puts them at 4-2 and moves them up to 4th place.

A second unfortunate loss in a row for Password is Taco. QB Smith was the only member of the offense to score a TD, a 57 yarder for a bonus 2. And, although RB Thompson didn't score a TD, his 130+ yards made him the only ball carrier to score in double digits. The Dabalalas, however, had their best game of the season. Their WR's didn't do much (Golladay couldn't help it since he was inactive, yet left in the starting lineup), but the rest of the team was on fire. QB Wentz threw 3 TD passes. Their running squad combined for over 360 total yards. TE Ertz scored 2 TDs. K Vinatieri kicked a bonus 50+ yarder. And, their Giants defense held their opponent to just 10 points and scored a TD as well as 4 sacks and 2 INTs. It's easy to see why the Dabalalas took this one 124-72.

Things not looking so good for The Bug after losing QB Rodgers to a potentially season-ending injury in the first quarter. With The Bug losing to the ic chargers by 39 points, it's hard to say whether Rodgers would have changed the outcome of the game. But, either way, the icees won an easy one 124-85. Despite no output from TE Lewis, and WR Diggs being left in the starting lineup even though he was inactive, the chargers offense put up a strong game. RBs Ingram and Martin combined for 3 TDs, a 2 point conversion, and 200+ total yards. WR Brown caught 155 yards and a TD for 21 total points. And, K Tucker scored a bonus 50+ yarder.  It wasn't a bad game for The Bug. Both their RBs, as well as TE Brate scored in double digits. But, the loss of Rodgers made a huge impact on the game for The Bug.

Spotlight:
IADP reporters traveled to The Bug World Headquarters to interview owner Daniel about QB Aaron Rodgers' injury. We asked how The Bug are going to overcome such a devastating loss of such an integral part of the team? We're guessing the staff at The Bug's front office wasn't too pleased because they all slammed the door in our faces.

No Game Of The Week preview this week. Our reporters are still trying to get over being shut out by The Bug.

Good luck all! See you next edition!
