Due to a work stoppage at IADP, there will be no Preview this week.
Week 7 Highlights:
We get the impression that the ic chargers were a little upset about their week 6 loss. So much so that they returned with a vengeance in week 7, dominating the Bad Ass Weazels 125-72. QB P. Manning was back to form, throwing 3 TD's and almost 400 yards. And, RB Forte had his best of the season with 3 TD's. The chargers' 49ers DST also helped with a TD all their own. The Weazels did well on the ground with 168 rushing yards and 2 TD's. And WR Thomas did well. Unfortunately for the Weazels, they lost QB Cutler to an injury in the second quarter, leaving the team with a -1. Although, his absence didn't likely affect the outcome of this game.
For the second time this season QB Brady let the Pandemic of Love down. His INT and lack of a TD pass resulted in a measly 7 points. But, it didn't matter. The Pandemic outscored the Cheesesteaks 94-90. This was a close one. The Steaks were behind 6 points with WR Nicks yet to play going into Monday night. But, Nicks only managed 2 points. Also, unfortunate for the Steaks, they left a lot of points on the bench. Points that would have made a difference in the outcome of the game.
The Dancers continue their win streak, easily knocking down the DaBruDoggies 119-94. The Brus had a decent score thanks to the farely late pickup of QB Glennon to replace Brees on his Bye week. Glennon threw a 59 yarder for a bonus. Also, last minute pickup WR Boykin proved fruitful as he scored a TD and 100+ yards. But, the Dancers were just that much better. QB Luck had a monster 4 total TD's. Their Cowboys DST held their opponent to only 3 points. And WR Jackson was the beneficiary of Brus QB Glennon's 59 yarder.
It looks like the Mighty Long Dogs flipped the wrong side of the coin last week in their 107-82 loss to the Half Smokes. The Dogs lost two players, QB Foles and RB Foster, to injuries during the game. And, to top it off, the Dogs have two backup QB's. One of which, Stafford, had a huge game, scoring 34 points. The Smokies had an even game with six players scoring in double digits. And, RB Gore had his best, putting up 2 TD's. But, we at IADP think that the Smokies definitely got away with this win.
The bad luck coin also did the Dabalalas in. The Las couldn't get their running game going, combining for 2 total points. And, although TE Clay scored a TD, none of the Las receivers managed double digits. QB Romo threw an impressive 300+ yards and a TD. But, his 2 INT's held him back. The Love Supremes had good fortune on the QB front. Both starter Griffin and backup Dalton were impressive. Also, it was a good week for the Supies runners with 200+ yards and a couple of TD's. Alas, the Supies managed to double the Las Score, winning 104-52, their second win of the season.
Unbelievable! A team was finally able to stop the Lancelot Links and hand them their first lost of the season. That team was the Killer Bunnies, winning 114-89. It's actually hard to summarize this one. Did the Bunnies win this game or did the Links lose it. Bunnies QB Rodgers dominated with 3 TD's. WR Douglas had his best of the season, scoring 20. Their Seahawks DST put up a whole lot of sacks. On the other side of the ball, Links RB Peterson was held back. WR Jackson had his worst of the season. Their Bengals DST allowed 24 points and scored just 10 themselves. Either way, it's a W for the Bunnies, and that's what everyone will remember at the end of the season.
Speaking of the Killer Bunnies, owner is in our Spotlight.
Spotlight:Caren, yes we're only halfway through the season. But, beating the undefeated Lancelot Links had to be like winning the Kibble Bowl. Was the champagne flowing in the Bunnies locker room?
Thank you! Yes, it was a great win, but the Bunnies are already focused on the upcoming competition. It's not an easy schedule and we have to be at the top of our game. Champagne at this point in the season would be definitely premature; not to mention dangerous for some of our front office team. Not time to get fuzzy.
