Week 7

Only one undefeated team still standing in the BFL, the Lancelot Links. And, IADP has discovered why. We snuck into the Links locker room before last weeks win against the DaBruDoggies and captured this footage.

Week 6 Highlights:
Just like we predicted, the DaBruDoggies couldn't stand up to the Lancelot Links, losing 107-82. The Brus air attack bombed with no TD's and a total of just 9 points. There was one bright spot on the team. RB Moreno had an impressive 100+ total yards and 3 TD's. On the other side of the ball, it was a below average game for the Links. But, that's not saying much since they still scored over 100. And, K Vinatieri tied his best of the season. And, WR Jackson proved why he is top ranked.

It was tense in the Pandemic of Love's owner's box going into Monday night with the Pandemic up by 8 points and one player left to play for the Bad Ass Weazels. But, Weazels WR Brown's 31 yards wasn't enough to topple the Love. Thus, the Pandemic won their second game of the season, 113-108. Their ground game was strong, totalling 32. But, it was their topped ranked DST that won this one thanks to a TD and a massive 10 sacks. For, the Weazels, it was RB Charles who had his best game of the season with 2 TD's. And, K Crosby accounted for the majority of the Packers' points.

A team was finally able to stop the ic chargers train. That team was the Cheesesteaks, who managed to outscore the chargers 91-82. It looks like the same player who normally wins it for the chargers may have lost it for them this time. Marquee QB Manning was intercepted once and fumbled twice resulting in a season low of 17 points. The chargers were helped by WR Marshalls, 2 TD's. The Steaks won thanks to TD's by all three WR's. However, their running game wasn't much of a factor with 10 total points.

The losing streak didn't last long for the Half Smokes thanks to a season high 38 points from QB Newton, which included 4 total TD's, one of which being a 79 yarder for a bonus 2 points. A major low point for the Smokies was the loss of TE Graham due to an injury during the game. Although, prior to leaving the game, he didn't produce any stats. The Love Supremes were let down by QB Griffin who tied his worst of the season. The highlight for the Supies was their running squad, which totaled 3 TD's and 200+ yards. It was an easy 111-87 win for the Half Smokes.

A lopsided victory for the Mighty Long Dogs against the Dabalalas. It's not hard to see why. The Dogs saw double digits from most of the team and their runners combined for a solid 33 points. And, Dogs WR's Moore and Blackmon had strong performances for the second week in a row. The positives for the Las. All players put up points. Their Broncos DST produced a couple of sacks and Int's. But, with their runners combining for 14 and the receivers combining for 13, plus QB Romo's inability to find the endzone, it wasn't hard to see why the Las lost.

An impressive effort by Dancers TE Davis, with 180 yards and 2 TD's. A huge effort by WR Jackson, with 100+ yards and 2 TD's. A stupendous effort by K Gostkowski, with a bonus for a 50+ yarder. These are the reasons the Dancers kicked the Killer Bunnies, 119-98. The Bunnies had a few good numbers on their side also. Their Seahawks DST kept the Eagles in check. RB Morris had his best of the season. And, QB Rodgers scored a bonus for a 64 yarder. The Dancers lacked some in their passing game. And, not all players scored in double digits. But, who cares if you can still produce a win anyway.

Speaking of the Dancers, owner Jill is in our Spotlight.

Spotlight:
Jill, two wins in a row after starting out 0-4. Are we seeing a turnaround? Will the Dancers leap their way into the playoff hunt?

We had a rough start, but are feeling ready to fight now! My Offensive Coordinator (aka: son) believes that part of our problem is our name, but the Dancers are strong and will pirouette their way to the Playoffs!

Preview:
The Dancers will try to continue their win streak as they face the DaBruDoggies. The Brus will be without marquee QB Brees due to a Bye. Possibly good news for the Dancers. As long as the Dancers produce like they did last week, and QB Luck overcomes his below average showing, this should be a good week for the Dancers.

It should be a good matchup this week between the Mighty Long Dogs and the Half Smokes. IADP expects this one to be a shootout between Smokies QB Newton and recently acquired Dogs QB Foles. The Guru seems to agree. Honestly, we have no predictions for this game. Our advise, sit back and enjoy.

The Love Supremes hope to end their losing ways with a win against the Dabalalas. This game is winnable for the Supies, although not easily. They'll need QB Griffin to air it out. And, they'll need RB Lynch to really be on the ball as he faces a strong Cardinals run defense. Some uncertainty on the Las side. They are a little thin on the running game with McFadden on a Bye, Spiller's status up in the air, and neither backups Hillman and Pierce being high scorers. The Las have also lost WR Cobb who is on IR due to a knee injury.

Up next for the 6-0 Lancelot Links, a matchup against the .500 Killer Bunnies. We at IADP think that the Guru is a little off this week. We don't see Bunnies RB Morris scoring 25 against the Bears. And, we don't see Links RB Martin scoring 26 against the Falcons. But, we do see the Bunnies bouncing back after last week. Whether they can bounce high enough to take down the Links, that's a different story. Watch for Links RB Peterson to run wild this week.

It should be a fun one between the ic chargers and the Bad Ass Weazels with chargers QB P. Manning going up against his former team, the Colts. This should also be a good test for Manning as the Colts DEF is ranked 5th against the pass. The Weazels may have the advantage here thanks to a favorable matchup for topped ranked RB Charles.

If you believe the projections, the Pandemic of Love are going to get their butts kicked by the Cheesesteaks. As of this posting, the Steaks' Bears DST is expected to score what would be a BFL record-breaking 68 points. We at IADP think that may be some sort of computer error. The Bears are middle of the road on the defensive ranks. Steaks QB Rivers faces a Jaguars DEF that managed to keep QB P Manning in check last week. We'll have to see if they do the same this week.

Good luck all! See you next edition!
