Week 11 Hightlights:
The Bad Ass Weazels did it again, this time beating the 1st place Lancelot Links 91-83. It was QB Ryan that did the Links in. Ryan only scored 2 points thanks to his whopping 5 Int's. And, interestingly enough, Links benched QB Freeman scored an impressive 27 and would have totally changed the outcome of the game. The Weazels can thank a solid DST effort and a 51 Yd. field goal by K Bryant for the win. Despite the loss, the Lances maintain their 1st place status.
There were a few reasons why the Cheesesteaks won their game against the Dabalalas. Their DST recorded a TD. Two of their receivers combined for 3 TD's. But, probably the biggest reason was that their opponent started the game with three players on Byes. This was an easy one for the Steaks. Their 90-65 win means that their current playoff spot is safe for another week.
Unbelievable! The Mighty Long Dogs lost two in a row for the first time this season. The Dogs were let down by marquee RB Foster who scored a mere 6 points after averaging 16 through week 10. Also, their Houston DST only scored 11 after averaging 20. Their opponent, the Killer Bunnies, fared better thanks to a strong DST that recovered a couple of fumbles and put up a TD. The result, the Bunnies beat the Dogs 108-84. And, the loss, along with a DaBruDoggies win, knocked the Long Dogs down one position to 4th place.
After losing two in a row, the Pandemic of Love are back to their winning ways after a 97-73 win over the Dancers. Interestingly enough, the Pandemic had two players who scored 0 points. And, their RB's combined for just 15. But, it was QB Brady and their 49ers DST that kept them in the game. Brady passed for 300+ Yds. and 3 TD's. And, the 49ers held the Bears to just 7 points. The Dancers weren't as fortunate. They saw points from every player, but not enough to out score the Love. This win kept the Pandemic in 2nd place and knocked the Dancers out of the playoff hunt.
Quite the nailbiter between the Love Supremes and the Wonder Twin Powers. The Twins were ahead by 9 points going into Monday night. And, both teams still had one player to play, Supies RB Forte and Wonders K Gould. Gould managed only 1 PAT. Unfortunately, Forte only managed 6 points, not enough to outscore the Powers. Thus, the Twins won this one 104-100. This game had no playoff implications. By the way, IADP just has to point out the 42 points scored by Supies rookie QB Griffin III. We're pretty certain that, much like the Washington Redskins, owner Lori will make Griffin III their franchise QB.
Another nailbiter almost decided on Monday night between the DaBruDoggies and the ic chargers. The Brus were ahead by 12 points. The ic chargers still had WR Crabtree left to play. Crabtree was projected at 11 points and had scored more than that in both of his previous two games. Crabtree did manage a TD. But, with 31 total Rec. Yds., his 9 points weren't enough to overcome the chargers' 12 point deficit. What's funny is that the Brus had two players who scored nothing. But, their Packers DST stepped up with 5 sacks and a TD, QB Brees did his usual, and Raiders backup RB Reece scored 19 points just on yardage alone. The DaBruDoggies 100-97 win raised them up two spots to 3rd place and dropped the ic chargers down one to 5th.
Speaking of the DaBruDoggies, owner Antonio is in our Spotlight.
Spotlight:
Our usual Spotlight interviewer is too busy prepping a Thanksgiving feast today. So, we asked Jenn, owner of the Wonder Twin Powers, to conduct our Spotlight interview this week.

Antonio, what is your favorite team? Also, If you could spend the day with any player current or past, who would it be and what would you do?
I don't know if I have a favorite team. I'm a Redskins fan because they are the local team, but not a die hard. There's no question who I'd want to spend the day with. DaBruDoggies franchise QB Drew Brees. I would love to just sit down and pick his brain about what it's like to break so many records and how he handles all the praise he gets. Also, I'd love to know how he handles the pressures of being the Bru's star player.
Preview:
The DaBruDoggies have a battle ahead of them this week. They'll face the Killer Bunnies who are on a late season surge, having won their last two in a row. The Brus are dealing with RB issues once again, recently picking up their fifth RB in as many weeks to keep up. The Bunnies have their usual stars, QB Rodgers and WR Cruz. This could be a big game for the Bunnies. Their win last week put them into 7th place, just outside of the playoff picture. But, a win this week with enough points, along with a Cheesesteaks loss, would move the Bunnies into the wildcard spot.
The matchup between the Lancelot Links and the Cheesesteaks is a must win for the Steaks. As previously stated, the Killer Bunnies are right on their heels. It looks like WR Welker is questionable. Hopefully, Welker will play, as the Steaks need every weapon they can hold on to. They are facing the best team in the BFL and the likes of QB Ryan and RB Peterson. The Links don't lose very often. And, they know how to score. . . a lot. One thing going for the Cheeses is that top ranked Lance TE Gronkowski is out with a broken arm.
The Bad Ass Weazels hope to continue their winning streak, this time against the Dabalalas. There isn't much we can say about the Weazels. They just need to continue what they've been doing for the past three weeks. The one good thing going for the Las? The Bye season is over, so they have a full compliment of starters this week. They'll all need to be at their best to make this one a more competitive matchup.
The Mighty Long Dogs are one of the most competitive teams in the BFL, so you know they'll do whatever they can to overcome their two game losing steak. They'll face the ic chargers. The keys to a chargers win? QB Manning needs to humble the Chiefs' 9th ranked pass defense and RB Martin needs to do his thing. The key to a Dogs win. Foster, Foster, Foster.
The Pandemic of Love are facing QB Griffin III and the Love Supremes. The Supies can't just rely on Griffin to carry them. They'll need Lynch to prove why he's a top 10 RB. The Pandemic are without marquee RB McCoy, but Starter Gore should pick up the slack. The Pandemic are in a must win situation if they want keep their first round Bye.
The Wonder Twin Powers have had some rough times in their rookie season, but they have been on fire these past few weeks. This week, they'll face the Dancers and the likes of RB Rice. The Guru has this one fairly even. This is what we at IADP call a coin-tosser. And, this game has no playoff implications.
Good luck all! See you next edition!
