Week 7 Highlights:
The Love Supremes have done it again, and have now won four in a row, this time against the Bad Ass Weazels 110-75. The Supremes can credit their win in part to Broncos QB Tebow who recently replaced starter Kyle Orton. RB Forte also contributed a good chunk of points for the Supremes. For the third week in a row, the Weazels saw a fairly low point total. They saw little production from their running game and most of their receiving squad.
The Lancelot Links didn't start a DEF last week. Their Patriots defence was on a Bye and had no backup to replace them. But, since the Links were playing the Easy Wins, it didn't matter much. The Links, of course, won 115-42. The Easy Wins actually did better than expected because of new starting QB Beck and his 279 passing yards and two TDs. As a matter fact, IADP has heard through the rumor mill that the Wins front office may end up benching Beck if he continues to score well.
It got a little scary over on the DaBruDoggies sideline last week. Marquee RB McFadden went down with an ankle injury in the first quarter. RB Mathews was kept in check with only 5 points. Their receiving squad combined for a measly 15 points. Then came Sunday night, when QB Brees took the field. And, 5 TDs later, Brees managed to save the Brus and lead them to a 93-68 victory over the Dancers. The Dancers had their woes also. RB Lynch had back issues and was pulled right before game time. RB Rice was kept in check with only 3 points. And, the Dancers receiving squad combined for just 19 points.
A team finally stepped up and stopped the juggernaut that is the Killer Bunnies. That team was the Dabalalas, who ended the Bunnies' four game win streak, beating them 117-108. As usual, Bunnies QB Rodgers put up big numbers including bonus points for his 79 Yd TD pass. Also, WR Bryant and TE Gates each put up a TD. The Las receivers did much better, putting up 61 points. On the other hand, QB Flacco didn't have such a good game, putting up just 9.
We at IADP don't like to get too saucy with our language, but we just had to say, "The Cheesesteaks got their ass kicked by the Mighty Long Dogs 150-54." The truth is, no one would have really had a chance against the Dogs. They were firing on all cylinders, especially their running game, which combined for an unheard of 77 points. The Dog's Arian Foster's 40 points alone broke the BFL RB record. Add to that, QB Newtons 2 TDs and WR Wallace's 100+ yard game, and you have a team that almost tripled their opponents score.
It had to happen at some point. After averaging 128 points so far this season, the Pandemic of Love were humbled this week by the ic chargers 93-61. The Love suffered a pandemic of Byes with most of their key starters off for the week. It's not hard to see why the Pandemic lost this one. Their RBs totalled just 6. Their receivers totalled 11. The chargers fared somewhat better. Especially their DEF, which kept their opponent to a single TD, as well as scoring one themselves.
Speaking of the ic chargers, owner Mike is in our spotlight.
Spotlight:Mike, some would say that you kicked the Pandemic of Love while they were down, after beating them when many of their marquee starters were out. What would you say to those critics? Also, what was the mood like in the chargers locker room after the win?

We play to win the GAME!! Mood in the locker...ice.ice.baby!!!
Preview:
The ic chargers will now face the Bad Ass Weazels who, despite losing last week, are still a contender in the playoff hunt. The chargers running squad is in question with Best out and Green-Ellis questionable. The Weazels look healthy and have handled the Bye Week Shuffle well. It looks like this is expected to be an even matchup.
This will be an interesting week for the 4th place Love Supremes. Not only will they face the Cheesesteaks, but they'll face the prospect of either being the team that loses to the 11th place Cheesesteaks, or they'll be the team that puts the nail in the coffin of the Steaks season. As of this posting, the Steaks are heavily favored to win this one.
Barring anything crazy happening, the Dabalalas will stay above .500 as they face the Easy Wins this week. The Las are expecting big numbers from their receivers. Now, the Las are dealing with Bye issues on defense/special teams. But, with their "Easy" matchup, it shouldn't make much of a difference.
IADP isn't quite sure what's going on over in the Killer Bunnies camp. As of this posting, both of their QBs are on Byes. They only have one viable RB, as all of the rest are either injured or on Byes. And, their DEF is on a Bye with no backup. And, to top it off, they face the Pandemic of Love. The Pandemic's marquee starters are back after a rough Bye Shuffle week, so even at full strength, the Bunnies would have quite the matchup.
Madden is predicting big numbers in the matchup between the Dancers and the Mighty Long Dogs. It's no suprise why with a running core that includes Rice and Jackson versus a receiving squad that includes Lloyd, Wallace, and Austin. Both teams really need the win to stay above .500 and have a shot at the playoff picture. This one is a little hard to predict, but expect it to be a good one.
The Lancelot Links are one position out of the upper half of the league. Standing in their way are the DaBruDoggies. The Doggies are without their star RB McFadden who is on a Bye, so it looks like the Brus will rely on QB Brees again. And, Madden is expecting big numbers from Brees. The Links will rely on QB Roethlisberger as well as marquee RB Peterson. The Brus are favored, but when firing on all cylinders, the Links are a scoring monster and can't be counted out until the final whistle.
Good luck all! See you next edition!
