Week 7

This week, IADP traveled to the DaBruDoggies practice facility for a press conference by DaBruDoggies team spokesman Jim Mora and asked him about this past week's loss to the St Louis Pandemic of Love and whether he thought the team had any chance at making the playoffs.

Week 6 Highlights:
It wasn't quite 160 points as guru'd, but The Lancelot Links scored enough to beat In It to Win It 109-83. It looks like WR Jeremy Maclin may have single handedly won the game for "The Links" with an impressive 27 points by way of a couple of TD's and 159 receiving yards. Of course, coach Link also benefited from a lack of team management on the "Wins" side of the field, as coach Kevin started the game without a RB, although "Wins" backup Marion Barber only scored 4 points.

It was another win for The Dancers, who beat the ic chargers 94-78. Unfortunately for the "chargers", QB Vince Young went down early in the game, reducing the chances for the "chargers" to catch up to The Dancers after being behind on Sunday night. Also, an anemic performance by star WR Miles Austin didn't help. This win helped The Dancers keep their 5th place position on the leader board.

After two bad weeks in a row, Bad Ass Weazels coach Bug must have really cracked the whip because his "Weazels" stomped all over the Romosexual Tendencies 131-76. The "Asses" had everything go right with all but one player scoring double digits. The "Weazels" also benefited from a bonus for QB Kevin Kolb's 83 yard TD pass. The "Romos'" loss may be the result of a lackluster ground game and a TE who had no passes thrown to him the whole game, although 131 points would have been a hard score to beat, no matter what.

The DaBruDoggies finally hit the century mark for the first time this season, and QB Drew Brees was finally back to form. Unfortunately, it didn't help them win, as they lost to the St Louis Pandemic of Love 108-105. The "Doggies" were ahead by 25 points going into Monday night's game. But, with the "Loves'" RB Chris Johnson and WR Kenny Britt left to play, the chances didn't look good for the "Brus". The "Pandemic's" win, along with the Killer Bunnies loss, makes them the only remaining undefeated team in the league.

The Mighty Long Dogs were back to their winning ways, beating the Dabalalas 106-85. "The Dogs" did well by their usual high scorers, Manning and Foster, as well as a couple of TD's by WR Roy E Williams. On the other side of the ball, the "Las'" running game did fairly well, along with WR Gregg Jennings. But, QB Brett Favre had a sparse game, and the "Las'" front office started the game without a K due to a bye, two factors that would most likely result in a loss.

The Cheesesteaks managed to accomplish something that five other BFL teams couldn't. They took down the mighty Killer Bunnies with a score of 115-69. This was a well needed win for the Cheesesteaks who were coming off of a four game losing streak. It didn't help that the "Bunnies" had three players who didn't score a single point. The "Steaks" can probably thank their strong Steelers DST and QB Matt Schaub for helping them topple the "Killers".

Speaking of the Cheeseteaks, their owner Kurt is in our spotlight this week.

Spotlight:
Kurt, you managed to end the winning streak of the powerful Killer Bunnies. What was the mood like in the Cheesesteaks locker room this week? Also, can this win be viewed as a turnaround point for the "Steaks"?

We knew we were going to win this week. Our guys are getting healthy again and we also got rid of all the duds that were starting earlier in the season. Of course this is the turn around! Would you expect anything less? We have our eye on Antonio's mess of a team... can't wait to kill them in THAT game!!! Nothing but positivity for the Steaks!

Preview:
The ic chargers have now lost two games in a row. And, this week, their road doesn't get any easier as they face the mighty St Louis Pandemic of Love, who are coming off of a squeaker of a win. The winner of this game may be determined by which team will be the healthiest, as both teams have injured players who haven't practiced or were limited in practice this week. If healthy, we expect the "Love's" ground game to run over the "chargers".

Once again, Madden is predicting high numbers for The Lancelot Links. With their strong receiving corp, it's hard to disagree with the guru. Unfortunately for the Romosexual Tendencies, they are tasked with trying to take down "The Links" and find that missing link that only one team has been able to exploit this season.

Could this be the week? Could the Dabalalas finally put up a win this season and end their winless streak? Well, if you trust Madden, the answer is yes. The Killer Bunnies are dealing with the bye week shuffle, and with some front office work, should make this game closer. But, we at IADP believe that this may be the week.

One team that is hoping that Madden is off this week is The Mighty Long Dogs who face the Cheesesteaks. As of this posting, Madden doesn't have much confidence in "The Dogs" lineup, with the majority of their lineup guru'd in single digits. At one win out of the playoff bracket, the "Steaks" should come out hard and strong.

The Dancers are making their presence known this season and the DaBruDoggies are very much aware of that presence, which is why they are doing everything they can to shore up their team. Despite being pretty much out of the playoff hunt, the "Doggies" seem to be working hard on the waiver wire to at least end the season with more than one win. With The Dancers having their best season so far, the "Brus" have quite the task ahead of them this week.

The Bad Ass Weazels will be looking to capitalize on their recent momentum shift as they travel south to take on In It to Win It. It looks like "Weazels" QB Kevin Kolb isn't expected to put up a lot of points, so they may be relying on their running and receiving game to win this one. On the other side of the field, it looks like the "Wins" will be relying on the coin method as they seem to have done all season so far.

Good luck all! See you next edition!
