Week 3

Are we seeing a shift in the league? Playoff perennials the DaBruDoggies and the Dabalalas are at the bottom of the leader board. The Lancelot Links and the Killer Bunnies, two teams who in previous seasons have been just outside of the playoff pool, are at the top of the leader board. Is it a sign? Are the winds of fate shifting? Are the four horsemen on the way? It's too early to tell, but one has to think, "Hmm. . ."

Week 2 Highlights:
Picture it! Monday night! Cheesesteak Stadium! The Cheesesteaks are 1 point behind The Lancelot Links. The "Steaks" have one more player to play. WR Robert Meachem only needs two points, twenty receiving yards, to win it for the "Steaks". But alas, it wasn't meant to be. Meachem did not handle the ball at all, not a single reception. Thus, The Lancelot Links beat the Cheesesteaks 116-115.

The DaBruDoggies made the mistake of not starting RB Darren McFadden for the second week in a row. A costly mistake, although not a game changing one, as the "Doggies" lost to the Killer Bunnies 87-109. The "Bunnies" had a solid game with 6 total touchdowns and a DST that put up a sack, a fumble recovery, and 2 Int's. Unfortunately for the DaBruDoggies, they are off to their worst start in BFL history.

It was another bad week over at Dabalalas Stadium. Even though the "Las" didn't have great numbers, this 63-101 loss to the Bad Ass Weazels was most likely due to a sad game by QB Brett Favre, who fumbled once and threw 3 Int's, resulting in only 1 point for the QB. On the other side of the ball, the Bad Ass Weazels benefited from solid performances including QB Jay Cutler's 29 points and RB Frank Gore's 168 total yards and 2 TD's.

It was an unlucky week for the ic chargers, who lost 51-104 to The Mighty Long Dogs. With single digits from most of the team, the "chargers" didn't have much of a chance, especially with QB Vince Young scoring -3 points, tying the BFL record for least points scored by a single player. "The Dogs" were pretty much on target with the Madden '11 projections, and of course did well by future Hall of Fame QB Peyton Manning.

Another team that flipped the wrong side of the luck coin was the Romosexual Tendencies, who lost to The Dancers 77-88. The "Romos'" WR Hines Ward only had one 9 yard reception. WR Devin Aromashodu got no receptions at all. RB Ryan Matthews left the game injured. And, to add to the "Romos" bad fortune, they got great numbers from benched TE Dustin Keller and WR Kevin Walter, who replaced the injured Andre Johnson. The Dancers were helped by a couple of great WR performances. Also of note, The Dancers' backup RB Jahvid Best put up an impressive 232 total yards and 3 TD's, but they didn't need him to put this one away. By the way, the 40 points Best scored would have broken the BFL rushing record.

St Louis Pandemic of Love star RB Chris Johnson was held to only 53 total yards and no TD's. Not a problem for the "Love" because second RB LeSean McCoy picked up the slack with 30 points. In It to Win It had another fair week with their team mostly scoring single digits. The "Wins" back up receiving squad could have made a difference in the score, but you can't score from the bench.

Speaking of St Louis Pandemic of Love, their coach Ryan is in our spotlight this week.

Spotlight:
Ryan, out of the four teams from last season's playoffs, yours is the only one right now to maintain a position in the upper quarter of the league. Does it make you nervous that this bad luck pandemic could make its way to the "Love"? Do you think you can keep your team "quarantined" from the bottom of the pack?

No, no, I don't think I will be quarantined from the bottom of the pack. I've been very lucky with 2 great RB's, and that's about it. My WR core is hurting, and that, in the end, is what will be my downfall. I've had a good luck pandemic so far, but we've only played 2 games. I'm sure, soon enough, you'll see me change my name to The St. Louis pandemic of SOL. The only thing I expect from this season is to beat the Cheesesteaks, because, well just because.

Previews:
It's been a tough start for the Dabalalas this season, having started 0-2. And, they are in for a tough third week as they face The Lancelot Links. "The Links" have scored an impressive 238 points in just these first two games. With most of their players scoring double digits each week, they have a good chance of going far this season. It's up to the "Las" to muster up some of their past glory to stop the train that is The Lancelot Links. As of this posting, Madden seems to think that this one will be fairly even, a possible plus for the "Las".

The Killer Bunnies are on a roll this season. It's easy to see why, with the likes of the NY Jets DST and #1 fantasy pick Aaron Rodgers. The ic chargers have talent all their own, although they didn't seem to realize it last week. This week, they travel to the Bunny Hole to try and stop the "Killer" momentum. The "Bunnies" have a lot of weapons, so it will be a mighty task indeed for the "chargers".

The Dancers' front office has been very busy this week trying to shore up their squad. After fine tuning their kicking and receiving games, and mirroring the Redskins in letting QB Jason Campbell go, they hope to put a second W in a row on their record. On the total opposite end of the spectrum, it looks like In It to Win It's front office has taken an early season bye, or should we say bye bye. The "Wins" have been pretty quiet with no transactions or lineup changes at all this season. IADP feels that The Dancers will determine the outcome of this game.

It looks like the Cheesesteaks are putting their faith in QB Michael Vick once again, a move that proved to be successful for them last week in their win against the Dabalalas. The Bad Ass Weazals will be putting their faith in QB Jay Cutler, another successful choice. Madden has the Cheesesteaks slightly ahead for this game.

The St Louis Pandemic of Love, the hardest working organization in fantasy football, travels south to take on the Romosexual Tendencies, the most experienced rookie in fantasy football. The "Romos" will be looking to bounce back after a devastating hit last week. A tough task, considering that they are going up against the "Love" who seem to be riding a success wave so far this season. Look for the "Love's" running game to put up a lot of points this week.

IADP's Game Of The Week pits dog against dog! Long vs. Bru! K9 against Kwhat the hell is going on this season?! The Mighty Long Dogs host the 11th placed DaBruDoggies who are coming off a second bad loss in a row. The "Brus" have some quality names on their team, but they haven't been playing up to their potential. They'll need to if they want to beat the passing and running games of "The Dogs". We at IADP are calling this game the "Michael Vick Bowl". . . Yes, we went there.

Good luck all! See you next edition!

Hey guys, I have 3 top tier RB's, and am willing to deal them to someone who needs them.
