Week 4

Quite a week in the BFL. Many a low scoring game. Many a tight game. A low scorer becomes a high scorer. A sole undefeated team.

Week 3 Highlights:
In their 78-67 win over the DaBruDoggies, BFL rookie The Dancers have gone on a two game win streak. The "Doggies" had quite the unfortunate week, including not a single touchdown pass from their star QB Drew Brees.

Thanks to solid performances by WR Reggie Wayne and QB Joe Flacco, The Pan Troglodytes defeated The Bad-Ass Bug 76-62. "The Bug" had the bad fortune of having the Redskins defense who helped the hapless Detroit Lions end their nineteen game losing streak.

Even though he started suspended K Garrett Hartley for a third straight week, Coach Kevin and his Average Joes stopped Running Wild 91-84, and recorded a win thanks to a great Cowboys DST stance.

Is it possible for a BFL team to go from being the unluckiest team of the week to the luckiest? If you ask Dabalalas coach Jim, he'd probably say, "YES!" Both of the Dabalalas' QB's were out due to rib injuries, but the "Las" managed to eke out a 85-81 win over the i c chargers.

In one of the best games so far this season, The Good Kind Of Limping Scrod scored a very tight 97-91 win over the St. Louis Pandemic Of Love. This game came down to the last quarter, when "Scrod" WR Roy E. Williams put just enough points on the board to outscore the "Love," and then some. "The Scrod" is now the only undefeated team in the league.

It looks like cheesesteaks coach Kurt really took his team to task this week. The once low scoring cheesesteaks completely turned around and set the new BFL record for most points scored by a team. Even though the victory was against the Easy Wins, 131 points is an impressive score. Speaking of the cheesesteaks, their owner, Kurt, is in our spotlight this week.

Spotlight:
Kurt, you've gone from a score of 67 points in week 1 and 74 points in week 2, to a record breaking 131 points in week 3. Was this a fluke, or do you think you can maintain this new level of success?

The core of the cheesesteaks have always had the talent. I just had to do some adjusting to get it right. We will maintain this success through the playoffs right to the championship! BRING IT ON BITCHES!!!! PHILLY PRIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fly eagles fly on the road to victory. Fly eagles fly...score a touchdown 1-2-3. Hit em low, hit em high and watch our eagles fly. Fly eagles fly on the road to victory!!! E-A-G-L-E-S!!!!!! EAGLES!!!!!!!

I mean cheesesteaks....

Previews:
The cheesesteaks look to continue their new found success as they travel to The Bad-Ass Bug. Even after "The Bug" take of care of their bye issues, the cheesesteaks will most likely still be favored to win this one.

It looks like i c chargers coach Mike will be relying on QB Matt Schaub and his favorable matchup against Oakland to beat Running Wild. Coach Mike will be looking to make up for his close loss last week against the Dabalalas.

The DaBruDoggies are on a two game losing streak and are not happy about it. IADP sent a reporter to the "Doggies" practice facility and witnessed Coach Antonio really cracking the whip during practice. Even though this game against The Pan Troglodytes should be pretty even, "The Dytes" should look out because the "Doggies" are looking to get back to their winning ways of previous seasons.

The Dabalalas may have won this past week, but owner Jim seems to have turned his attention elsewhere. IADP does know that Jim is quite the business man and owns more than one fantasy team. Perhaps being a multi team owner has spread him too thin. Hopefully Coach Jim will bring his focus back to the BFL because his Dabalalas will be facing the mighty St Louis Pandemic Of Love who are hoping to move pass their unfortunate loss last week.

Hoping to continue their winning ways, The Good Kind Of Limping Scrod hopes to trip up The Dancers. As of this posting, "The Scrod" is heavily favored. Hopefully, after a little tweaking, including replacing K Neal Rackers, who has a bye this week, The Dancers can make this matchup a little tighter.

Has Average Joes general manager Kevin finally stepped back into the front office? After starting his suspended K three weeks in a row, he finally dipped into the free agent market to draft a replacement. Of course, it probably wouldn't have mattered much this week since the "Joes" are facing the Easy Wins. But, we at IADP are glad to see him making an effort.

Good luck all! See you next edition!

Me thinks the Scrod be'th scared.

The way the Scrod won versus the Love, bring nothing but shame to their Limping name, and will lose every game henceforth

In the interest of leveling the playing field... and being more forthcoming than a few of my fellow managers...

Some folks have discovered that trades need not be one-to-one. If you examine the reserves of 'teams in the know' a useful secret will be revealed to you...
