Week 3

We cheered! We jeered! It was better than the XFL!

Week 2 Highlights:
In a BFL Championship rematch, The Bad-Ass Bug took on champion the Dabalalas. "The Bug" got their revenge as they beat the Dabalalas 90-70. The "Las" have many top notch players including Brian Westbrook and Randy Moss. Unfortunately, both marquee players had pretty bad weeks.

Despite a not so stunning game by QB Tom Brady, Running Wild managed to defeat the DaBruDoggies 102-92. This game may have come down to non-productivity by "Doggies" top WR Gregg Jennings who had not a single catch in the game.

The St Louis Pandemic of Love has set the new BFL record for most points scored by a team in their crushing 119-74 win over the cheesesteaks. Unfortunately for the "cheeses", they once again suffered from single digit numbers from most of their starters. I'm guessing owner Kurt is meeting with his general manager and coach right now to discuss how to fix his team's woes.

In a turn of events, week one high scorer The Pan Troglodytes scored the second lowest points this week in a 113-67 loss to the i c chargers (only the Easy Wins scored fewer). Unfortunately for coach Joey, his reserve squad actually outscored his starting lineup, including what would have been a BFL record performance by reserve RB Chris Johnson who scored an impressive 45 points.

The Good Kind of Limping Scrod started LaDainian Tomlinson this past week, despite the fact that he was listed as inactive due to an ankle injury. Luckily for "The Scrod", they played the Easy Wins and of course won 83-19.

The Dancers leaped forward with a 107-95 win over the Average Joes. The "Joes" had a few solid performances from QB Philip Rivers and WR Vincent Jackson, but it wasn't enough against The Dancers and their BFL record performance by TE Dallas Clark who scored 24 points. Speaking of The Dancers, their owner, Jill, is in our spotlight this week.

Spotlight:
Jill, this being your first time ever playing in a fantasy football league, how did it feel to earn your first win?

What? I won?! I would like to thank Dallas Clark and my husband for the first win of many.

Previews:
Hoping to have better numbers from their starters this week, The Pan Troglodytes will be fighting hard to erase last weeks performances from their minds. However, the headline for this game should be "Can The Bad-Ass Bug's Receiving Corp Get It Done?" The "Guru" seems to think otherwise.

The winless Average Joes are looking to finally score a "W" against Running Wild. As of this posting, the "Joes" are slightly favored to win. However, this reporter believes that "Joes" Coach Kevin may have taken an early season vacation. In the past two games, he has started suspended K Garrett Hartley who is not eligible to play until week 5, which happens to be his bye week. Perhaps a dip into the free agent kicker pool would help Coach Kevin secure a win.

IADP usually points out our lucky team of the week. Unfortunately, this week we also have to point out our unlucky team. Coach Jim and his Dabalalas have been bitten by the injury bug. Both his starting QB Matt Hasselbeck and his reserve QB Donovan McNabb are suffering from rib injuries. As of this posting, "Las" opponent, the i c chargers, are heavily favored to win. The "chargers" are on a roll, and aren't likely to let the Dabalalas get in their way.

After two pretty good games, The Dancers RB Mike Bell is not expected to play in The Dancers game against the DaBruDoggies. With a little tweaking by Coach Jill, this should be a pretty even match up.

It looks like Coach Andi has done quite the over hall of her The Good Kind of Limping Scrod. Pulling from the free agent market for two WR's, a RB, and a new DST, she has just about pulled even with division opponent St Louis Pandemic of Love for the week. Despite being 2-0, this may be "The Scrods" first true test. Unlike their first two opponents, the low scoring cheesesteaks and the throw away Easy Wins, the "Pandemic" has proven to be one of the top teams in the league.

And finally, it looks like Coach Kurt and his cheesesteaks can finally take a breather as they host the Easy Wins. Once again, the Easy Wins had to replace a player, this time Troy Williamson, who was put on injured reserve. The cheesesteaks have taken quite the beating so far this season, and could definitely use a guaranteed win.

Good luck all! See you next edition!

Pandemic...I have faith in Roy Williams...he's gonna bring it for me tonight! I know it! :)

You may have faith, but just to let you know, Carolina has only allowed 302 passing yards in two games, so it's not looking pretty for your Mr. Williams.

Go Felix Jones! Before last week, I had no idea who Felix was...but now, I'm possibly a big fan.
