Week 4

IADP sat in on the DaBruDoggies post game press conference last week and shot this footage of team spokesman Bill Callahan.

Week 3 Highlight:
The ic chargers are off to a great start having won their 3rd in a row, 109-82 against the Love Supremes. Of course, the star of the game was chargers QB P. Manning. A couple of TD's from WR Rice also helped. On the Supies side of the ball, RB Murray's 200 + yards and a TD kept the score from being an even bigger deficit. None of their other ball carriers scored any TD's. And, QB Griffin fumbled, threw an INT, and couldn't get the ball into the endzone.

There are only three undefeated teams left in the BFL. One of them happens to be the rookie Half Smokes. And, they outscored the rest of the league last week, while stomping on the Killer Bunnies 131-54. The Bunnies had their worst game ever thanks to a combined 2 total points from their entire receiving squad. And, the usually high scoring QB Rodgers was held to only 13 points thanks to a couple of INT's. Smokies QB Newton was back to form with 4 TD's, one of which he ran in. And, TE Graham continued his dominance.

A few strong performances from the Cheesesteaks. QB Wilson threw a monster 4 TD's. Three of the Steaks receivers scored TD's. And, their DST killed with a few sacks, INT's, and FUM REC's. But, they went against the best team in the BFL, the Lancelot Links, and lost 122-112. The Links had an equally impressive defensive effort. But, it was TE Camerson who made the difference in the game, having made it into the endzone 3 times.

There was only one standout for the Bad Ass Weazels. RB Charles who put up over 170 yards and a TD. The rest of the team did well enough. Well enough to outscore the Dancers 97-65. Most of the Dancers scored in single digits with the their runners combining for 7 points and their receivers combining for 16. It also didn't help that TE Davis didn't play and had no backup. The loss gives the Dancers their third in a row

The DaBruDoggies almost had the game locked up going into Monday night. Despite being behind by 14 points, they still had two players left to play versus the Dabalalas with one left to play. The Brus inched closer thanks to a few sacks from their Broncos DST and little productivity from Las RB McFadden. But that all changed with a trick play by McFadden as he passed the ball to the endzone for a TD. A running TD by Mc Fadden sealed the deal. The 88-79 loss is the third in a row the Brus.

The woes continue for Pandemic of Love. They did well in week 3 thanks to a solid effort by marquee RB McCoy. Also, WR Decker saw a lot of yardage and a TD. And, QB Brady scored a respectable 19 points. But, their opponent, the Mighty Long Dogs, were just too good. It was the Dog's Ravens DST that shined with 2 TD's. A few other standouts include TE Gates, WR Johnson, and RB Bradshaw, each producing a TD. Despite a strong effort, the 122-96 loss for the Pandemic was their third in a row.

Speaking of the Pandemic of Love, owner Ryan is in our Spotlight.

Spotlight:
OK. Let's get straight to the point. What's it going to take to turn the season around for the Love? Should the Pandemaniacs start panicking?

You know I'm not sure. Looks like we'll be taking that ashram farm retreat to see if we can find our center. All the pieces are there, they just haven't fit together yet. Tom needs his Gronk, and Bush needs his knee. The WR core is all over the place, but they can all put up big numbers. KC's DST seems to be twerkin it this year. And their coach didn't play the right line-up in week 3, and that could have been our first win. Close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades, and atomic bombs. Okay, I gotta go because the NSA just knocked down my door....................................

Preview:
The rough road continues for the Pandemic of Love. They'll face the undefeated Half Smokes in week 4. The Love have some quality players. And, they'll need to outdo themselves to win this one. For the Smokies, they just need to keep it up. That may be a little harder this week with QB Newton and WR Nelson both on Bye's. Look for TE Graham, who has been on fire these last two weeks, to carry the team this week.

After defeating the lowly DaBruDoggies last week, the Dabalalas will face a potential brick wall in the ic chargers this week. Despite a favorable matchup for RB McFadden against a low-ranked Redskins run defense, there is some uncertainty amongst the rest of the Las running squad. RB Pierce, depending on if starter Rice has recovered or not, faces a low-ranker in the Bills. And RB Spiller faces a strong Ravens run defense. On the other side of the ball, the chargers just need to let QB P Manning do his thing.

Coach Barkley is on a roll so far this season and will look to rollover the Love Supremes next. The success or failure of the Supies my just rest on the shoulders of QB Griffin. The QB is in a funk so far this season. WR Fitzgerald is healthy again after playing the last two weeks slightly injured. There isn't much IADP can say about the Links. Their #1. They have a topped 10 ranked QB, a 3rd ranked RB, and a 2nd ranked WR and TE. They've got this.

The Dancers may have a chance against the Mighty Long Dogs. But, only if RB Rice is back and healthy. And, only if WR Jackson is healthy. And, only if TE Davis, who as of this posting doesn't have a backup, is healthy.  The Dancers are somewhat banged up as they face the 4th place Dogs. As long as everyone is on their game, the Dogs should find this one much easier than their opponent last week, the ic chargers.

NFL.com is expecting huge numbers from both the Killer Bunnies and the Cheesesteaks. The Steaks may have a slight advantage here thanks to favorable matchups for three of their four receivers. After a stellar week 3, we'll have to see how well QB Wilson does against the powerful Texans passing attack. The Bunnies have proven they can score and should recover after last weeks debacle.

The Guru isn't predicting much for the DaBruDoggies in their matchup against the Bad Ass Weazels. The Brus are somewhat of a ragtag bunch after owner Antonio did some shoppin' at the Free Agent Market. The Weazels are on solid footing so far in '13. They are a little thin on runners, but should be OK as long as QB Vick produces. And RB Charles should be OK if the Chiefs give him a chance.

Good luck all! See you next edition!
